Honeysuckle is a New York City-based lifestyle magazine with national print distribution and a thriving online fanbase. Cross-generational, yet “youthful” in it's core appeal, Honeysuckle includes the latest in edgy culture and news journalism, luscious photography and illustration, poetry and personal testimony.

A relatively new publication (2015), we are distributed in newsstands and stores
throughout the country and in gift bags at high-profile industry events and private
functions including New York Fashion Week, SXSW, Third Eye Film Festival in Los Angeles, Cannabis Network Radio’s Lit Lounge, Canna Harvest Festival, Canna afterglow fundraisers and events, MNN TV, and the internationally renowned Norwood Arts Club among many others.

In December 2017, Honeysuckle will be one of the first American mainstream
magazines to publish a cannabis-themed print issue. An AG Tech issue will follow in
January. We are seeking investors, sponsors, and advertisers to help cover production costs of these issues and scale the company to comply with popular demand.

The Cannabis Issue


 

 

The Cannabis issue – Honeysuckle's largest print run to date – will feature an exclusive cover story with iconic actor Alan Cumming (The Good Wife); coverage of the lawsuit against Jeff Sessions; interviews with celebrities and influencers in the cannabis space (such as Star Wars’ Greg Grunberg, NFL greats Marvin Washington and Eben Britton, and Stephen Inglis of Green Acres Holdings); an insider’s guide to MJ Biz Con, the largest cannabis industry expo in the United States hosted by Marijuana Business Daily; as well as testimonials about medical and recreational use, poems, photography and more. Hot topics like Puerto Rico, NFL controversies, epilepsy, and others will be explored.

 

Leading up to the issue’s official release, founder Ronit Pinto appeared as a Women in Media panelist (alongside the lead designer from NBC’s Today Show) at this year's Disruptive Startup Summit, sponsored by 2020Startups and Microsoft.

 

She has been invited on further TV spots as well as radio and popular YouTube channels, all outlets that will be used to promote interested advertisers and sponsors.

 

The magazine’s nationwide distribution deal allows targeting of any major American
market beneficial to the needs of investors.

 

Subscription Arrangement



The investment will be used for production of the upcoming Cannabis and AG Tech
issues, as well as evolving content online. It will also develop an editorial calendar and agenda toward promoting more content and materials directed toward sustainable subjects and themes as the focus of the print issues. The goal is to distribute these periodicals widely to outlets like Barnes and Noble, with whom we have already established a relationship.

 

First-tier sponsorship: $20,000
Lasts from date of signing through a 4-month period.

Includes:

Premier ad placement. Back covers or center spreads.
Premier placement in all supplements. Supplemental issues focus on topics of sustainability and are 40-60 pages in length each.
Your business’s name/logo/branding on flyers, banners, and promotional materials at all launches, festivals, or other events featuring those print issues.
Online ad presence.
On-air mentions of your business as a sponsor in Honeysuckle’s appearances.

Mid-tier sponsorship: $30,000
Lasts from date of signing through a 5-month period.

Includes:

Premier placement with back cover or center spread in all issues and supplements published during that period. Your business’s name/logo/branding on flyers, banners, and promotional materials at all launches, festivals, or other events featuring those print issues.
On-air mentions of your business as a sponsor in Honeysuckle’s appearances.
Ad banner web presence from day of signing through issue launch and sponsorship end date; and sponsored online column.

 

Premium sponsorship: $50,000
Lasts from date of signing through a 8-month period.

Includes:

Guaranteed back cover placement on one issue and premier placement with center spread in all issues and supplements published during that period. Mention of your business on those issues’ covers; primary placement of your business’s name/logo/branding on flyers, banners, and promotional materials at all launches, festivals, or other events featuring those print issues.
On-air mentions of your business as a sponsor in Honeysuckle’s appearances on popular YouTube channels, Sirius XM radio, and select TV spots; specialized social media shout-outs. Ad banner web presence from day of signing through issue launch and sponsorship end date. Sponsored online column.
Additional large online ad on “Features” article of your choice.

 

Annual sponsorship: $125,000
Lasts from date of signing through a 12-month period.

Includes:

Guaranteed back cover placements during the year. Input on the cover stories for each issue. Mention of your business and/or special thanks on those issues’ covers; primary placement of your business’s name/logo/branding on flyers, banners, and promotional materials at all launches, festivals, or other events featuring those print issues; on-air mentions of your business as a sponsor in Honeysuckle’s appearances on popular YouTube channels, Sirius XM radio, and select TV spots; specialized social media shout-outs. Annual sponsors receive ad banner web presence on Honeysuckle’s homepage from day of signing through sponsorship end date; sponsored online column; and additional large online ad on “Features” article of your choice. Also, we can offer to annual sponsors a number of live events specifically tailored to their needs. For example, we can coordinate and host a reading or lecture at our bookstore partners. In New York, we have hosted events and have partnerships with The Strand, Mc-Nally Jackson, Book Culture, and Housing Works; and venues such as The Red Room, The Delancey, Kelly’s NYC, and 230 Fifth Rooftop. However, we are able to coordinate to bookstores and locations nationwide where your business’s products or presence may be displayed. For your annual sponsorship, we are additionally glad to offer you the production of at least 2-3 video spots through our very talented in-house video/film department to fit your business needs. These videos will be hosted on the Honeysuckle website and available for your professional use.
